  • Choreography Workshop

    October 3rd

    12:30 - 2:00pm

    $35

Crystal Griffith and Olivia Dean are the artistic team behind CoLab Dance Arts in Tucson, Arizona – The 2026 winners of the Hollywood Connection National Black Onyx Competition. Crystal trained professionally in Los Angeles with artists including Lisette Bustamonte, Robert Schultz, and G Madison, while Olivia earned her BFA in Dance from the University of Arizona and trained extensively in ballet, jazz, and modern. Together, they have collaborated on choreography for more than five years, creating work that emphasizes artistry, storytelling, improvisation, and meaningful movement.

This workshop will take dancers beyond simply learning choreography and give them the opportunity to explore how movement is created, developed, and shaped into meaningful work. Through guided improvisation, movement exploration, and composition exercises, Crystal and Olivia will challenge dancers to make intentional choices, develop their own artistic voice, and think like choreographers.

Perfect for dancers who want to grow not only as performers, but as artists and creators.
